In short. This site asks for no registration and collects no health data. It records technical browsing data and, only with your consent, uses Google analytics and advertising cookies. If you write or call, we use your contact details solely to reply.
Data controller
The controller of data collected through this site is Dr Ciro Roberto Errico — ChiroSport Ancona, Via Fabio Filzi 12, 60123 Ancona (AN), Italy, VAT no. 02644320422.
For any request concerning your data, write to chirosportancona@gmail.com or call +39 071 202812. No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, the legal conditions requiring one not being met.
What data we process
Browsing data
The systems running this site acquire, in normal operation, data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet protocols: IP address, browser and operating system, addresses of the pages requested, time of the request, server response code. This is used for anonymous statistics and to check the site is working properly.
Data you send us
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we process what you provide — name, contact details, and whatever you choose to tell us — solely to reply and, if you wish, arrange an appointment. This site has no contact forms: no data is entered or transmitted through these pages.
On health data. Clinical information about patients is collected at the practice, not through this site, and is handled under the separate notice given to you at your first visit. Please do not send health information by email or WhatsApp before your visit.
Purposes and legal bases
- Running and protecting the site — legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR)
- Replying to your enquiries — pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR)
- Analytics and advertising — your consent, revocable at any time (art. 6.1.a GDPR)
- Tax and legal obligations — legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR)
How long we keep it
- Browsing data: as long as technically necessary, normally no more than 12 months
- Enquiries: as long as needed to handle them, and in any case no more than 24 months after the last exchange
- Cookies: for the periods set out below
Who else sees the data
Data is neither disclosed nor sold. It may be processed on our behalf, as data processors, by technical suppliers necessary to run the service: Netlify (hosting and access logs), Google Ireland Ltd. (Tag Manager, analytics and advertising services, web fonts) and Register.com (domain management).
Some of these suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards in Chapter V of the GDPR: an adequacy decision for organisations certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. This site uses two categories.
Technical cookies — always active
These make the site work and require no consent. The only one we use records the choice you make in the cookie banner, so it is not shown again on every visit. It is stored in your browser's local storage and remains until you clear your browsing data.
Analytics and advertising cookies — only with your consent
Through Google Tag Manager we may activate Google tools that tell us how many people visit the site, where they come from and which pages they read, and that allow advertising campaigns to be measured. These install third-party cookies lasting from a few months to two years.
Nothing loads until you accept: the Google script only starts once you have pressed "Accept all". If you choose "Necessary only", no profiling cookie is written.
You can change your mind whenever you like: reopen cookie settings. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings, bearing in mind that disabling technical cookies may affect how the site works.
One technical note
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts servers. This involves your IP address being communicated to Google, which is necessary to deliver the file to your browser. No cookies are installed by this.
Your rights
At any time you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, and portability of the data you provided. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (arts. 15-22 GDPR).
Write to chirosportancona@gmail.com: we reply within one month.
If you believe the processing breaches the regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or to seek a judicial remedy.
Changes
This notice may be updated to reflect changes in law or in how the site works. The applicable version is always the one published at this address.
Last updated: 18 August 2026. This is a translation provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy the Italian version prevails.
